Use a single word marker to tell your dog when he/ she is doing something you like ...
"Yess!", "Good!" or, "Super!"
When you have used your marker word, immediately follow it with a reward (treat/ toy).
This helps your dog understand what you want or like as the sound of the word captures the exact moment your dog has done something you like and is then rewarded with a treat. The treat helps reinforce the behavior.
When used correctly you will start to notice how excited your pup gets when you have marked a desired behavior.
